At BLK LABEL SOCIETY, we understand that finding exactly what you are looking for can feel like winning the lottery. Doesn’t happen often but when it does, boy does it pay off. That is why we are now offering the option to customize an entire artisan soap loaf.
And when we say customize, we mean it. From the oils, to the fragrance to the additives, you let us know what you are looking for, and we will make it happen, within reason of course.
Let us walk you through how easy it is to make your selections and place an order.
To start, it’s crucial for us to be aware of any skin allergies or sensitivities you might have. If, for instance, you have a nut allergy or sensitivities to fragrances, kindly inform us. As a small business, we take pride in our ability to throughly sanitize, sterilize and break down our equipment after each batch, ensuring there’s no risk of cross-contamination. Your safety and comfort are our top priorities.
The next section, you will choose a combination of base oils tailored to your skin type. For example: Our Dry Skin soap option has a base of oils enriched with fatty acids like oleic and steric, which is why you will see olive oil, avocado oil and shea butter included in this base. We included a soap base for Oily and Balanced Skin. And because so many of you love our Black Soap hybrid soaps, you also have the option to create your own special hybrid soap made with Raw African Black Soap. Simply selecting the “Add Raw African Black Soap to base” option.
Moving on to the next section, you can also select an additional unrefined butter to add to your soap base. The process of making soap from scratch requires a such a delicate balance of hard butters and liquid oils to result in a bar of soap that is the right hardness and lasts long. If there is any oil or butter that you do not see as an option and are interested in including, kindly send us a note and we will have to make sure to formulate the soap the be able to keep its integrity.
The next section is everyone’s favorite, ‘Add-Ons’ This is really where you can allow your customization to shine. You can select up to 3 servings from a wide array of options to include into your soap
The final section is about the finishing touches of your soap. Whether you have a preference for herbaceous fragrance or if you love more grounded earthy scents, select the fragrance you want. We want you to be able to also have a say in the color and design of your soap creation.

Soap making is a science and your requests have to be harmonious to be able to produce a successful bar of soap.
